1950. Bom at Nikolinci. Completed elementary education at Vršac,
and Grammar School at Pančevo, 1968.
1969. Enrolled in the Fine Arts Academy in Bucharest (Institut
de Arte Plastice ”N. Grigorescu”). As a student, first exhibited
in the premises of the Yugoslav Embassy in Bucharest (1971,
1973) and in a group exhibition at Students Salon in Cluj (1973).
1973. Graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Bucharest in the
class of professor Eugen Popa.
1976-79. Worked for the Novi Sad Television, as TV illustrator.
1978. Became member of the Fine and Applied Arts and Design
Association of Vojvodina (UPIDIV).
1979. Elected chairman of the UPIDIV, employed as art editor.
1981. Scholarship ”Moša Pijade” for Paris. The same year started
work on art editing and illustrating the well-known ”Matica
Srpska” edition ”Prva knjiga”. Completed about 50 books of the
series till 1988. Participated in conferences: ICSID, ICOGRADA,
IFI ”DESIGN ’81”.
1982-83. Scholarship from the French Government, for Paris.
Specialized ”Intermedial Structures in Graphics” - illustration,
comics, cartoon, collage, etc. Met Dado Đurić, who introduced
him to Roman Cieslewicz, Roland Topor; visited editorial offices
of ”Le Mond”, ”L’Humanite”, ”Hara Kiri” and ”Lui”.
1985. Elected chairman ofthe Union of Fine and Applied Arts
and Design Associations of Yugoslavia, term of office till November
1988.
1987-88. Included in three annual arts publications in Japan:
JCA ANNUAL 7, JCA ANNUAL 8 and THE SEXY DREAMS.
1992-95. As art director, cooperated with SMS BATES ”SAATCHI
& SAATCHI” ADVERTISING BALKANS agency of Belgrade and created
visual identity of the ”Kikindski mlin”.
